The brand-new KARHU x MÖLKKY lifestyle collection reinterprets five iconic sneaker silhouettes, incorporating design elements inspired by the popular outdoor game MÖLKKY.
The color of the collection is based on natural shades of wood and green — an homage to the wood and turf on which MÖLKKY is traditionally played.

For the campaign, the KARHU team traveled to Pori in western Finland — the birthplace of MÖLKKY. There, they were able to see first-hand how the game is created, from raw wood processing to the finished product.

MÖLKKY is a Finnish throwing game with Scandinavian roots that combines skill and strategy. It is played outdoors with 12 numbered wooden pins (also called skittles) and a throwing pin – the Mölkky.
The goal of the game is to score exactly 50 points by knocking over the pins with the Mölkky.
However, if a player exceeds 50 points, their score is reduced back to 25, adding a tactical element to the game.
MÖLKKY is easy to learn, can be played with any number of participants, and is a beloved pastime for all ages in Finland.
