HOKA and the women-founded outdoor label Halfdays are joining forces for their first footwear collaboration.

The result is a winter-ready hiking shoe that blends HOKA’s trusted performance innovation with Halfdays’ modern mountain-to-street design DNA.

“Our community has been asking for winter footwear that transitions seamlessly from snow to après,” says Ariana Ferwerda, Co-Founder and CEO of Halfdays.

“With HOKA, we reimagined the warmth and sculptural feel of our ski jackets into footwear, with technical innovation women can trust in cold-weather conditions.”

The foundation of the model is the HOKA Kaha 2 Frost Moc.

The HOKA x Halfdays edition pairs HOKA’s comfort and stability technologies with Halfdays’ unmistakable aesthetic: clean, tonal colorways and playful, softly padded silhouettes that nod to the brand’s outerwear roots.

The two new colorways, Oat Milk/Spiked Cocoa and Amethyst/Glazed Cherry, were designed exclusively to complement the Halfdays Winter Collection.

With a Vibram outsole for traction, a GORE-TEX membrane for weather protection, and PrimaLoft insulation for warmth, the shoe stays fully functional in snowy conditions — while still stylish enough for city wear or après-ski.

The campaign was shot against New Zealand’s dramatic alpine landscapes, capturing the balance of function and style — created for women whose adventures extend far beyond the slopes, and who blend fashion and performance even in the middle of a snowstorm.

With this first footwear collaboration, Halfdays expands beyond its outerwear-focused offering while staying true to its mission of inspiring more women to “own” the mountain — in an outdoor industry that has long overlooked them.

The HOKA x Halfdays Kaha 2 Frost Moc will launch on November 14 and will be available at select HOKA retailers.
