HOKA and END. are working together to conquer wild nature and the exciting trend of overlanding. The result of the first collaboration is a revision of the HOKA Mafate Speed 2 and the Kaha Low and will be available from March 13.
Because of their robust features, these models are synonymous with the world of overlanding and were therefore selected. With their collaboration, HOKA and END. celebrate freedom, adventurousness, independence and the joy of life off the beaten track.

‍
The first collaboration between END. and HOKA. is inspired by the roots of overlanding — a long-distance journey where the journey is the destination, and the world's hardest terrains — from barren, arid deserts to dense, deep jungles.
The selected color palette of the newly created range reflects the various landscapes of nature and thus breathes new life into the popular and already tried and tested HOKA shoe models. With the reworked Mafate Speed 2 and the Kaha Low, it's time for the next off-road adventure.

‍
To further enhance the successful collaboration, each of the new HOKA shoes comes with an END. Co-branding, which ranges from a logo incorporated into the outer material to a pendant incorporated into the tongue.
The construction of both shoes remains unchanged, as they are already ideal for off-road adventures: both the Mafate Speed 2 and the Kaha Low impress with a Vibram Megagrip sole, the latter also with a GORE-TEX lining.

“The collaboration with END. combines HOKA's performance footwear background and END.s streetwear aesthetics. With Overlanding, both brands have found common ground that is deeply rooted in the self-image of both partners, as it involves advancing and exploring areas that are still unknown,” says Travis Wiseman, Director of Lifestyle Product at HOKA.
“Establishing the partnership between END. and HOKA was an incredible process that has already been taking place for several years. Seeing the potential and thus the emerging force in the lifestyle and street sector is refreshing and urgently needed. During the project, it was important for us to honor the performance aspect of HOKA and develop a story that was also for END. makes sense.
We ended up with Overlanding because it embodies durability, functionality, and a sense of adventure—appealing to the modern explorer who moves both in town and off-road. As with the synergy between an active lifestyle and off-roading, there is a constant goal of either finishing the race or getting ahead of anyone else before. It's similar to our approach to brand design and curation: it's always about doing something new and unexpected,” says Callum Hill, senior collaboration manager at END.

END. and HOKA have ventured into the remote Tabernas Desert in the southeastern province of AlmerĂa in Spain for their campaign. The story of a personal journey of discovery through the barren, isolated terrain is told here. END. Photographer Adam Thirtle, videographers Ant Tran and Rowan Hodgson take on the campaign in which Jack Errington and Lucy Davis took care of the styling and impressively capture the joy of travel and the spirit of resilience. This is how the essence of inspiration behind the collaboration between HOKA and END. comes to life successfully.
