HOKA introduces the Stinson 8. The latest generation of this versatile road-to-trail running shoe has been completely redesigned to offer a more stable ride without sacrificing the series’ signature soft cushioning. At the same time, the Stinson 8 is the lightest version of the silhouette to date.
At the heart of the update is the redesigned H-Frame technology. The open H-construction supports a smooth roll-through motion and stabilizes the foot on uneven terrain. It is complemented by an exceptionally soft lower layer of the midsole, designed to effectively absorb shocks.
The breathable mesh upper features durable, woven inserts and is designed for use off the beaten path. A molded support structure provides additional stability for the midfoot.
The tongue, stitched on both sides, prevents the foot from slipping inside the shoe and is also designed to reduce the entry of dust and small stones.
A newly developed all-terrain rubber outsole ensures reliable grip. Its tread pattern is designed for transitioning between asphalt and trails and provides traction even on more technically challenging surfaces. A webbing heel loop makes it easier to put on the shoe.
The men’s version of the HOKA Stinson 8 in US size 10 weighs approximately 320 grams, while the women’s version in US size 8 weighs 272 grams.
The stack height for the men’s version is 44 millimeters at the heel and 39 millimeters in the forefoot. For the women’s version, it is 43 and 38 millimeters, respectively. The heel drop is five millimeters.
For men, the Stinson 8 is available in the colorways Black/HOKA Citrus, Frost/Black, Varsity Navy/Faded Navy, Galactic Grey/Black, and Black/Outer Orbit. For women, the options include Barley Flour/Barley, Frost/Black, and Pink Opal/Alabaster.
The HOKA Stinson 8 will be released on July 30, 2026, and will then be available at select retailers. You can find HOKA at AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, and HHV, as well as Bunert, Laufbar, Lunge, and shop4runners.
