With the Clifton 11, HOKA introduces the latest generation of its proven daily trainer.
The model builds on more than a decade of Clifton history and combines the series’ signature cushioning with a redesigned upper, an optimized insole, and a refined fit.
Since its debut in 2014, the Clifton has been one of HOKA’s most important running models. The eleventh generation remains true to the silhouette’s comfortable and versatile design, but is said to offer an even softer and smoother ride thanks to the updated materials.

The new upper is made of breathable jacquard mesh and wraps around the foot with light support. Strategically placed 3D silicone prints enhance stability and durability, while reflective details improve visibility in low-light conditions.
A dual-lacing system also allows for a more personalized fit. In terms of sole construction, the Clifton 11 largely follows the design of its predecessor. The midsole, made of compression-molded EVA foam, provides soft cushioning and supports a smooth transition from the heel to the forefoot.
The heel-focused Active Foot Frame stabilizes the foot upon landing, while the Smooth MetaRocker geometry promotes a smooth roll-through motion.

With an 8-millimeter drop, the men’s Clifton 11 has a stack height of 42 millimeters at the heel and 34 millimeters in the forefoot.
For the women’s version, these measurements are 38 and 30 millimeters, respectively. The weight is 282.8 grams in men’s US size 10 and 236.4 grams in women’s US size 8.

The launch is accompanied by the “Look what smooth can do” campaign. Fisheye perspectives and deliberately soft, rounded shapes convey the shoe’s smooth running feel through visual imagery and depict an environment that seems to move in unison with the runners.
The HOKA Clifton 11 will be released on July 16, 2026, and will then be available at select retailers. You can find HOKA at AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, and HHV, as well as Bunert, Laufbar, Lunge, and shop4runners.
The HOKA Clifton PRO has also been available since July 9. This model is positioned as a more progressive performance version of the series and is aimed at runners who prioritize efficiency, control, and consistent performance in their daily training.

For the first time, the focus is on the new PROGLIDE+ technology, which combines resilient SCF foam with HOKA MetaRocker.
This is designed to create a smooth roll-through sensation that cushions impacts and actively propels the foot forward.

The Clifton PRO also features a breathable, technically woven mesh upper, reflective details, and a Durabrasion rubber outsole.
The revised rocker geometry and segmented outsole design are designed to provide more propulsion, stability, and consistency over the entire distance.

As with the Clifton 11, the stack height is 42 millimeters at the heel and 34 millimeters in the forefoot for men, and 38 and 30 millimeters, respectively, for women. The weight is 296 grams in men’s US size 10 and 242 grams in women’s US size 8.

The HOKA Clifton PRO is already available and can be purchased from the following retailers: Bunert, Laufbar, Lunge, and shop4runners.
