The origins of HOKA lie in the concept of maximum damping. This gave rise to the inspiration and initial concept of Bondi, which is one of the most powerful shoes in the HOKA range. The damping icon is now getting an update:
The Bondi 9 has been redesigned from the ground up, with a higher standing height and a new high-quality foam midsole with super-critical foaming technology, which is responsible for the Bondi's well-known and popular soft yet grippy running experience. The foam is lighter, more durable and more dynamic.

The midsole also features updated geometries and a heel-focused Active Foot Frame for improved support. Together with the refined MetaRocker, this creates a smooth, soft and cushioned running experience.

An improved textured knit upper with breathable zones creates an even more comfortable and comfortable fit, while the new 3D cuff allows for an even softer feel and easy slip-on.
The outsole is coated with Durabrasion rubber to protect high-wear zones and ensure that the Bondi 9 provides optimal traction with every run.
