With ONYX, Axel Arigato is launching a brand new model series. Onyx is available for both men and women.

Onyx is inspired by classic basketball silhouettes from the 1980s and 1990s — modernized by the in-house design team to create a new sneaker icon.

When developing the Onyx family, Axel Arigato wanted to create a sneaker that combined basketball and music subcultures — aesthetics that have long been part of the brand's DNA. When designing the new line of sneakers, the design team looked both at the court and at the street.

‍

With a wider profile and a thicker sole, the Onyx is made from soft, high-quality semi-analine leather - and fuses mesh, lycra and polyester to create a truly modern premium sneaker.

‍

Other details include the shaped rubber ARIGATO logo on the tongue and an EST.2014 on the heel.

‍

The Onyx is available in white/beige and white/green in a unisex size range, as well as white/maroon for men and white/pink for women.
