ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov are continuing their collaboration and launching a new silhouette with the ASICS GEL-KIRIL III, which reinterprets ASICS' long tradition in workwear and functional footwear.
‍

‍
Based on the GEL-KIRIL series, this latest version focuses on the essential functional elements that embody the essence of Japanese craftsmanship and the tradition of functional workwear.
‍

‍
The raised TPU front, inspired by modern ASICS workwear models, is complemented by an embossed pattern — an interplay of textures and shades that gives the functional structure a playful touch.
‍

‍
In contrast to its predecessors, which were closely linked to Kiko Kostadinov's seasonal collections, the GEL-KIRIL III is inspired by real experiences and exchanges with people in everyday working life.
‍

‍
The silhouette reflects the evolution of Japanese workwear and bridges the gap between technical performance and practical usability in everyday life.
‍

‍
This combination of ASICS's technical expertise and Kostadinov's avant-garde vision creates a sneaker that is as innovative as it is traditional.
‍

‍
The accompanying campaign was shot in Chiba, an hour outside Tokyo, and features three real workers — Daisuke, Kenta and Rikiya — building traditional scaffolding.
‍

‍
Against this authentic backdrop, the images underline GEL-KIRIL III's close connection to movement, resilience, and the importance and honesty of physical work.
‍

‍
By embedding the shoe in a real work environment, the campaign reinforces its purpose: a functional companion for everyday use.
The ASICS GEL-KIRIL III will be released on March 8 and will be available at selected retailers such as AFEW Store, Asphaltgold and VooStore.
