ASICS and HIDDEN NY continue their collaboration with the release of the GEL-KINETIC 2.0 in the White / Castlerock colorway.

The sneaker serves as a conceptual follow-up to HIDDEN NY's first collaborative ASICS project, the GEL-NYC, which drew its visual language from the digital design tools used by its community.

For the GEL-KINETIC 2.0, HIDDEN NY looks even further back, into the early era of digital design.

The White/Castlerock colorway draws on HIDDEN NY’s signature palette, pairing a clean, technical-looking base with green accents. Inspired by early design software and classic computer hardware, the sneaker translates these references into a functional walking silhouette.

The GEL-KINETIC 2.0 was developed specifically for walking, rather than running or training. For the model, ASICS draws on the full spectrum of its performance expertise.

Based on foot pressure analysis, the GEL Pods are strategically placed underfoot, while Scutoid GEL Technology uses a more twisted and angular construction to enhance flexibility.

Its inverted setup helps distribute pressure more evenly, creating a more comfortable feel overall.

The model also features FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, encased in a precisely engineered TPU cage.

This allows the ASICS x HIDDEN NY GEL-KINETIC 2.0 to combine a soft underfoot feel with reliable stability.

The heel area uses a dual-layer construction, helping the shoe adapt to different heel shapes, whether the laces are worn loose or tight.

The ASICS x HIDDEN NY GEL-KINETIC 2.0 in White/Castlerock releases on June 5th and will be available at the following retailers: AFEW, Asphaltgold, BSTN, HHV and SUPPA.
