The GEL-SONOMA 15-50 sneaker is rooted in the concept of outdoor exploration. The new model is inspired by the upper of the 15-50 cross-country spike.

It was originally developed for competitive runners who traverse a wide variety of terrain. Now it has been modified for navigating streets and mountain trails.

Components from the first two GEL-SONOMA trail shoes were used in its construction. From everyday walking to hiking on rocky slopes, these features provide advanced cushioning and traction in a variety of environments.

A.P.C., founded in 1987 by Jean Touitou, is a French clothing brand that is authentic and accessible through its style, prices, and philosophy.

While A.P.C. initially became known for its classic raw denim jeans, the brand now offers a complete collection of women’s and men’s apparel and accessories that embody a simple, casual elegance.
Jean Touitou works alongside his wife, Judith Touitou, the creative director of A.P.C.

ASICS is known for its technical features and sporty colors. A.P.C. is associated with minimalism and simplicity. Combining these characteristics was the goal for both brands in creating the Gel-Sonoma 15-50.

The result is a sneaker that straddles the line between fashion and streetwear. The ASICS SportStyle x A.P.C. Gel-Sonoma 15-50 will be available in three colorways on December 16 at 43einhalb, Asphaltgold, and SUPPA. Be sure to keep an eye on our sneaker release calendar as well.
