This month, adidas Originals and JJJJound are introducing two premium versions of the iconic Superstar sneaker, crafted at the Three Stripes factory in Scheinfeld, Germany.
Shaped by shared creative values and the craftsmanship of the adidas Scheinfeld factory, the Superstar silhouette gets a modern update in two colorways—white with black stripes and black with white stripes.
Each iteration uses a different model of the iconic sneaker as its base: The white iteration takes the form of the Superstar 82, while the black colorway draws inspiration from the Superstar II and represents the icon’s evolution in the ’90s and ’00s.
Each pair is an artistic interpretation of the legendary silhouette, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship of the Montreal-based collective, and features a leather-wrapped shell toe and textured three stripes.
The rubber outsole remains true to the original Superstar, which made its debut in 1970. Both models feature high-quality details such as a premium leather upper, a co-branded insole, and custom-made vintage tags, and come in a co-branded box with JJJJound tissue paper.
The adidas Originals by JJJJound Superstar will be available at select retailers starting February 20. Keep an eye on our sneaker releases.
