adidas and IVY PARK reveal the last part of their joint collaboration with the title IVY PARK NOIR. The collection, which is completely in black, celebrates movement and materiality and underlines the human form with silhouettes that embody power, freedom and individuality.
The new collection represents the culmination of collaboration between the two brands and combines adidas' sporting and functional excellence with IVY PARK's signature emphasis on form and trend-breaking creative vision. With a unique black color palette, IVY PARK NOIR deliberately focuses on fabric, fit and texture and shows elegance through sensual interplay of materials.
The collection takes into account all phases of an active lifestyle — from warm up unto Cool down. The materials include luxurious embossed leather, exposed mesh, and lacquered latex, which combine to create a complex yet sophisticated capsule. The special pieces include form-fitting tops and pants, relaxed knitted 3D sweatshirts, multifunctional jackets and the unique IVY PARK jersey.
IVY PARK NOIR's range also includes innovative shoes that usher in a new era of style and function. Smooth, shaped and embossed elements give the collection's sneakers an architectural basis, while a chunky boot pulled over the knee offers a utilitarian approach.
The collection was designed with the inclusivity typical of the IVY PARK brand and offers sizes from XXS to 3XL. IVY PARK NOIR will be available in selected adidas and partner stores worldwide from October 12, 2023.
The campaign is inspired by Film Noir and the power and dynamism of photographers such as Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon and underlines the essentialism of the all-black collection.
Sublime black and white portraits, taken against a soft, white-gray background, are underlined by a playful spotlight that gives the images a touch of excitement and freedom.
Like IVY PARK, the campaign stands for fearless self-confidence and celebrates those who move around the world without denying their self-image.
