adidas and Arte Antwerp unveil their first collaborative capsule collection, a project that spotlights North African football culture while reinterpreting sportswear through the lens of contemporary European street culture.

Following the recent launch of the all-white Lightblaze POD with former footballer Mousa Dembélé, a long-time friend of both brands, the new collection carries forward the same textural depth and premium craftsmanship as the initial footwear drop.

The pieces blend Arte’s minimal, elegant design language with adidas’ sporting DNA.

At its core, the capsule celebrates the influence of North African culture on European football style.

Colours, details and silhouettes draw directly from the significance of the sport in Morocco, where football connects people across continents, identities and backgrounds, creating shared spaces and a sense of community.

Arte’s DNA, shaped by founder Bertony Da Silva’s Angolan roots and European sensibility, meets adidas’ global football culture.

The collection pays tribute to the influence of North African athletes and the achievements of iconic players from the region.

The campaign features adidas athlete Brahim Díaz, whose Moroccan–Spanish heritage echoes the cultural narrative at the heart of this season.

Photographed by Ilyes Griyeb, the Paris-based Moroccan photographer known for his authentic documentary work, the campaign captures the textures of everyday life in North Africa.

The series documents scenes around a football pitch in Marrakech and members of the local community.

Griyeb’s visual language, immediate, honest and finely nuanced, provides the ideal frame for the adidas x Arte collection and underscores the significance of grassroots football in Morocco.

The capsule combines adidas sportswear silhouettes with Arte’s design craft. Highlights include ADIDAS Z.N.E. tracksuits, knitted long-sleeve jerseys and graphic tees featuring Arabic lettering on the back that translates to Sport Unites Africa.

The selection is complemented by jerseys and shorts in matching colors.

The collection is clean, elegant and high-quality, finished with fine embroidery, lace details and seasonal colours such as red, green, white and black, a reference to the flags of North Africa.

The line-up is rounded out with matching accessories in coordinated tones, including sling bags, socks and caps.

The footwear offering includes the Lightblaze POD ZIP in black and an embroidered Adilette releasing in December, followed by the new Trivela silhouette in February 2026.

Bertony Da Silva, Founder and Creative Director of Arte, describes the collaboration as follows:

“This first capsule with adidas is inspired by the raw energy of African football culture, a world defined by community, expression and resilience.

The pieces reflect the cultural energy that surrounds the game and the people who give it meaning. Our new campaign is built with and by local voices in Morocco. From the photographer to casting director, models to set team, every still and scene is rooted in collaboration.”

The adidas x Arte Antwerp collection is available at BSTN and SUPPA.
