adidas is unveiling its first collection with contemporary South African fashion designer Rich Mnisi. The collection features beautiful, bold pieces that celebrate Rich Mnisi’s Tsonga heritage.
In addition to top-performance pieces, the collection also features streetwear looks with distinctive silhouettes that seamlessly blend style, color, and function. The collection is rounded out with iconic adidas shoe models and innovations such as the Superstar, UltraBOOST, and Forum, which have been reimagined with Rich’s signature prints and a range of design accents.
Rich Mnisi on the collaboration with adidas: “I’m very proud to present this collection in collaboration with adidas, a legendary brand I grew up with and that I’ve seen people of color use to express their creativity through art. It was a pleasure to apply my designs to classic pieces.
We’ve created a colorful, unique collection that reflects my love for the idea of community and tradition, individuality, and self-expression. Our goal was to design pieces that support life both on and off the field.”
