This season, adidas Originals and the progressive Ukrainian label KSENIASCHNAIDER have teamed up to present an exceptional collection with a variety of imaginatively unconventional clothing, shoes and accessories.
‍
‍
Founded in 2011 by Ksenia and Anton Schnaider, KSENIASCHNAIDER is an independent fashion house based in Kiev that focuses on creating “boundary pushing ready-to-wear,” denim, and upcycled clothing and accessories.
‍
‍
With Ksenia's design language and Anton's technical logic and their innate playful sense of humor, the partners' label of the same name challenges established conventions in order to create a new vision of the future.
‍
‍
True to KSENIASCHNAIDER's creative vision, “Design minus Design,” the first joint collection from Trefoil and the Kiev label opens up a new perspective on the well-known adidas looks.
‍
‍
The collection consists of a series of garments that combine the characteristic aesthetics of the Ukrainian label with the unmistakable adidas brand codes.
‍
‍
On the one hand, a range of denim pieces - including jeans, jackets and shirt dresses - are embellished with frayed edges, voluminous cuts and idiosyncratic details.
‍
‍
On the other hand, timeless Adidas classics are being reinterpreted: adicolor tracksuits, corsets and dresses are reworked into patchworks.
‍
‍
The shoe collection also includes eye-catching new editions of the adi2000 sneakers,

For the accessories, KSENIASCHNAIDER uses a black denim fabric as a base and processes it into unexpected silhouettes, which are then finished with fluorescent yellow soccer cleats.

The adidas Originals x KSENIASCHNAIDER collection will be available at selected adidas stores from July 1. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Calendar.
