In 2021, adidas Originals made headlines with a tribute to one of the world’s most popular Christmas movies—“Home Alone” or “Kevin—Home Alone.”
This December, the Trefoil returns with a sequel—this time honoring the second installment of the series with the Forum Lo sneaker “Home Alone 2” or “Kevin—Home Alone in New York.”
The sequel to the classic takes us from Chicago to New York City and draws inspiration from the iconic scene where Kevin meets the “Pigeon Lady” at the foot of the Gapstow Bridge in Central Park.
The timeless Forum Low sneaker playfully references the heartwarming story of understanding, trust, and friendship and features a series of unique updates.
The gray leather upper is complemented by printed insoles featuring images of the “Pigeon Lady,” custom graphic hangtags, tongue labels featuring “Home Alone 2” co-branding, interchangeable lace tags, and three pairs of laces—one of which features a green ribbon, just like the pigeons in Central Park.
Above the two Velcro fasteners is a lovely detail that pays homage to one of the film’s most famous lines. It reads:
"As long as we have our lovey-dovey, we’ll always be friends."
The adidas Originals “Home Alone 2” Forum Low sneaker is a fitting tribute to a Christmas classic. It will be available on December 12 at 43einhalb.
