adidas Originals presents the Jabbar Lo x Bruce Lee—a tribute to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and his legendary on-screen moment alongside Bruce Lee. This marks a meeting of two icons from the worlds of sports and cinema.

The Jabbar Lo, introduced in the 1970s as adidas’ first signature basketball sneaker, is now making a comeback as a special edition.
The model comes in an eye-catching Utility Yellow colorway and directly references the iconic visual moment between Abdul-Jabbar and Lee.

This design is inspired by the 1978 martial arts classic *Game of Death*, in which Kareem Abdul-Jabbar appears as a two-meter-tall opponent in an epic battle against Bruce Lee.
The scene is still considered one of the most impressive film sequences in the genre and highlights the contrasts between the two men’s size, style, and philosophy.
Not least, the yellow tracksuit with black stripes worn by Bruce Lee made the film immortal—a look that became an iconic symbol of pop culture far beyond the cinema.

The limited edition impresses with high-quality materials and special branding details:
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s Skyhook logo shines in gold foil, while the Bruce Lee Foundation’s “Kick” logo on the heel is also rendered in gold foil—complemented by Bruce Lee’s signature on the side of the heel.

The design is rounded out by specially designed insoles featuring artwork by Bruce Lee and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Alongside the sneaker, a capsule collection of graphic T-shirts will be released, paying tribute to the influence of both icons and playing with a modern retro charm.

The adidas Jabbar Lo x Bruce Lee drops on September 13, 2025, and will be available at the following retailers: AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold, HHV, and SUPPA.
