adidas Originals and the LEGO Group have teamed up for another collaborative project: This season, they’re introducing a new version of the classic Superstar silhouette.
In addition to a playful adidas Originals LEGO® Superstar sneaker, the two brands are presenting a LEGO® Superstar model that must first be assembled from the included LEGO® bricks—a highlight in any sneaker collection.
adidas Originals LEGO® Superstar Sneaker Combining iconic elements from both brands, the adidas Originals LEGO® Superstar blends aesthetics from the adidas archives with the unmistakable LEGO® bricks.
The LEGO® Superstar playfully reimagines the iconic design: A classic black-and-white leather construction gets that extra something with meticulously crafted, customizable 3-Stripes, a “Shell Toe” toe cap, and a heel element featuring a LEGO® brick design. Gold foil accents round out the eye-catching look.
LEGO® adidas Originals Superstar 10282 A must-have collector’s item for all sneaker fans: the iconic sneaker to build yourself from LEGO® bricks. Just like the original, the LEGO® version features the iconic adidas Originals Superstar graphics, the “Shell Toe” toe cap, the Trefoil logo, and the jagged 3-Stripes design.
The set includes 17 additional LEGO® bricks, so you can choose whether to build a right or left sneaker. The building set comes in an authentic shoe box. The model stands over 12 cm tall, 27 cm long, and 9 cm wide. Sneaker enthusiasts and LEGO® fans can admire their self-built sneaker on a shoe display stand.
To celebrate the creativity and spirit of innovation behind the LEGO® adidas Originals Superstar model, the LEGO® Group asked six inspiring creatives to design their own personal versions of the sneaker using LEGO® bricks and is now calling on all fans to do the same. Photos of the individual creations can be uploaded to social media using the hashtag #builtbyoriginals.
The collaboration between adidas Originals and the LEGO® Group, the LEGO® Superstar sneaker, goes on sale July 1. It will be available in adult and children’s sizes at select retailers. We’ll keep you updated here.
