As part of adidas Originals’ new creative direction last year, the Trefoil is paying tribute to significant communities this season with its latest campaign.

The focus is on those who, both then and now, wear the three iconic silhouettes—Samba, Gazelle, and Spezial.

Originally designed for various sports, from training to soccer to handball,

each of these three classics has left its mark in different settings, across different cultures, and within various cultural movements since their launch.

The campaign in Germany features professional soccer player Serge Gnabry, actress Jella Haase, and singer Levin Liam, who inspire the lifestyle and fashion community with bold looks that showcase the versatility of these three sneaker models.

The campaign is accompanied by three short films featuring glimpses into the lives of the three protagonists as they wear the Samba, the Gazelle, and

the Spezial in various everyday situations, as well as visual material that highlights the timeless energy of the three silhouettes.

The campaign featuring the Samba, the Gazelle, and the Spezial launches on March 28 and will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks.

In addition, adidas Originals celebrates the spirit of its classic silhouettes and the personalities who give them special meaning today,

with a physical activation in Munich in the form of a pop-up store and in collaboration with local partners.

At “THE ORIGINALS STUDIO” on April 27 and 28, consumers will have the opportunity, among other things, to customize a Samba, a Gazelle, or a Spezial. From sports to skateboarding to music and fashion. Once a classic, always a classic.
The adidas Originals Gazelle, Samba, and Handball Spezial are available at the following retailers: 43einhalb, AFEW-Store, Allike, Asphaltgold, Brooklyn, Fortytree, Gloryhole, Glückstreter, HHV, Jumpnshoez, Orange Jungle, OJ Skate, Schrittmacher, Scoop86, SneakerCircle, SneakerTwins, SUPPA, and VooStore.
