For two decades, adidas’ iconic ADIZERO running series has stood for performance innovation—it has set and broken records worldwide, worn by trailblazing athletes.

Now, adidas is bringing this pioneering spirit into a new context and directing it toward a new generation of trendsetters.

The ADIZERO ARUKU was developed for a life in constant motion and is inspired by the progressive design codes of the turn of the millennium—a bold step into the future.

Drawing on the look of adidas running shoes from the 2000s and reimagined with state-of-the-art materials, the brand-new silhouette features a progressive design, an extra-high midsole, and soft SWIRLFOAM cushioning.

This provides a cloud-like feel, combined with high energy return and a unique “rocker effect.” The ARUKU’s mesh upper draws inspiration from elements of the lesser-known ADIZERO PR and features eye-catching TPU overlays—designs from the Y2K era that have now been reimagined for today.

The campaign for the launch of the adidas ADIZERO ARUKU spotlights two multi-talented individuals who symbolize a life in motion: soccer star Rafael Leão and London-based DJ Jordss.

Both embody the courage to forge their own paths—and in doing so, shape not only their careers but also the communities around them.

The ADIZERO ARUKU marks the beginning of a new era—the sneaker launches today and is available at the following retailers: 43einhalb, AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold, HHV, and SUPPA.
