This season, adidas Originals is back with a new colorway of its groundbreaking NMD S1 sneaker.
The bold silhouette, named S1—short for “Sneaker Number 1”—is a daring evolution of the NMD collection featuring a black colorway.
The result is a understated look that stays true to the ethos of purposeful simplicity, thoughtful aesthetics, and formal innovation.
The NMD S1 is a concept with a complex technical composition. It features a seamless 3D Primeknit sock-liner equipped with Monomesh panels for enhanced breathability.
The proven BOOST midsole and plugs are encapsulated in a semi-transparent TPU layer.
The 3D Trefoils on the outsole pay homage to the Marathon TR model. The look is rounded out by PU-dipped lace tips, reflective laces, and molded foam insoles.
The new black version of the NMD S1 comes in a premium box that includes individual shoe bags, shoe trees, and an extra pair of laces.
The latest version of the NMD S1 will be available on August 12 at Asphaltgold.
