adidas Originals presents the Jabbar Lo x Bruce Lee — a tribute to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and his legendary on-screen encounter with Bruce Lee, uniting two icons from the worlds of sport and cinema.

First introduced in the 1970s as adidas’ inaugural signature basketball sneaker, the Jabbar Lo returns in a special edition.

Dressed in a striking Utility Yellow colorway, the model pays homage to the iconic on-screen moment shared by Abdul-Jabbar and Lee.

The moment comes from the 1978 martial arts classic Game of Death, where Kareem Abdul-Jabbar faces Bruce Lee in an epic showdown.

The scene — contrasting size, style and philosophy — remains one of the most iconic sequences in martial arts cinema.

Last but not least, the yellow tracksuit with black stripes worn by Bruce Lee became immortal — a look that transcended cinema to become an enduring symbol of global pop culture.

The limited edition stands out with premium materials and elevated branding details:

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s Skyhook logo appears in gold foil, while the heel features the Bruce Lee Foundation’s “kick” logo in matching gold — complemented by Bruce Lee’s signature on the lateral side.
