About HHV:

Vinyl, streetwear, sneakers and more -
Good Stuff Carefully Composed since 2002

At HHV, an urban lifestyle is loved and lived. For 20 years, this dedication has been reflected in their online shop in a unique offering. The range ranges from vinyl records to streetwear and sneakers, all under one roof. Your vinyl shop has over 70,000 tracks — one of the world's largest repertoires of vinyl records online. They also rely on high-quality urban fashion brands and a range of stylish sneakers. Everything has been carefully selected with attention to detail.

The roots: hip hop and vinyl

The story of HHV begins at the end of the 1990s — at a time when the rare vinyl LP wasn't just a mouse click away. Hip hop music from the USA, particularly away from the mainstream, was difficult to obtain in this country. Back then, you could barely buy them on vinyl — certainly not at a fair price. The idea to change that was the cornerstone of what HHV is today in 2002.

From record store to vinyl online shop

What began as a small record store in Berlin-Friedrichshain soon became an online shop. Musically, it shouldn't just be hip hop and rap. As a result, the range of offerings in the HHV vinyl shop gradually expanded, first to include the genres of funk and soul, and later to include numerous other musical genres such as house, techno, rock, folk or jazz. Whether Stones Throw or Melting Pot Music, Daptone Records, Warp Records or XL Recordings — many very different record labels have found a home in the HHV vinyl shop.

Vinyl records from our own house

Since then, the selection criteria are no longer based on a specific style, but increasingly determined by quality. This is also the basis of the publications of their house label HHV, which was created in the course of their successive development. Like their label Project Mooncircle, it enables them to work closely with musicians and label owners and to create releases according to their own taste.

Growth beyond the vinyl shop

But it is not just the music sector that has experienced organic growth in recent years. Instead, HHV's entire range of products gradually expanded. Band Merchandise first added to the repertoire, later clothing and shoes were added. Today, HHV is no longer just a vinyl shop, but also a streetwear shop and a sneaker store. Accessories, equipment, books and magazines complete the offer.

Streetwear and urban fashion from top brands

In our urban fashion shop, HHV offers a wide range of brands that covers classics such as Carhartt WIP, Nike or Stüssy as well as younger brands — such as Wemoto, Ucon Acrobatics and HUF. Contemporary menswear brands such as Wood Wood, Soulland and Libertine-Libertine also have their place at HHV. They are constantly following the latest trends and bringing fresh collections to the shop. Fashion-conscious people will find contemporary streetwear in stylish cuts and designs — from T-shirts, sweaters and hoodies to pants, shirts and jackets to caps and hats. The selection also includes their own apparel series, with which they translate their enthusiasm for hip hop, beats and vinyl into textile.

Suitable sneakers for the outfit

If you also want your feet to be stylishly dressed, it's also worth clicking into their sneaker shop. It offers a variety of high-quality sneakers from well-known manufacturers such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Asics or Vans. Hundreds of models in various styles and colorways are immediately available: running shoes such as the Nike Air Max 1, the Nike Roshe Run, the adidas ZX Flux and the New Balance M996, basketball shoes such as the Air Jordan series or skate shoes such as the Vans Authentic and the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max. Regardless of which sneaker the decision is made — everyone is the first choice.

The essence of HHV

Many things have changed at HHV over the years. But they have always retained what makes them special: the love and passion for vinyl, sneakers and urban fashion. In addition, quality and authenticity are among the central values that shape their mission statement. There is no “empire” behind HHV, but rather normal, down-to-earth people. As a result, they remained loyal to the Friedrichshain neighborhood right from the start and have also always stuck to their retail store, the HHV Store. They like to celebrate at concerts and parties, preferably together with their customers. They come to work by bike and many employees have already been seen pushing a stroller. They plan for the future — in a completely natural way.
